Satisfaction. I'm pretty bored with everything. DA only frustrates me, for a variety of reasons, not the least of which is my lack of anything written lately that took any sort of effort or creativity. I've just been too damn lazy. School sucks. I've been trying harder, and the payoff is evident in my grades, but nowhere else. I'm really bad with delayed gratification. I suppose it'll all pay off in the end when I've mastered the theatre arts and constantly employ them so the customers at the tables I'm waiting on don't know how much I despise them. So I've been gone for a while. Again. A whole month, in fact. It's been a strange month. I've come to realize a lot of things. People I've hurt, things I've lied about, have all come back to me. Tomorrow is new years day, and for once I am making actual, real resolutions, not sarcastic mocking ones. 1. Stop lying. Not entirely, I'm an actor. I mean stop lying about big things. To others, of course, but my biggest problem is lying to myself. 2. Get my academic shit together. I did not do well this semester. I need to figure out if what I'm studying is right for me. Back from Thanksgiving. And an unanticipated, month long break from DA. Why? I don't know, honestly. I've written some things. One might even be worth posting. I'll get to that later.
